Join in with a host of events taking place in and around Rutland this weekend, including a regular quiz night, a dance-a-thon and a wedding fair.

Half Term Fun on the Farm

From 16 - 29 October, Rutland Farm Park will be hosting a series of half term fun and games throughout the October half term.

Enjoy getting up close with animals on the farm, learning about the local attraction with the friendly team and join in with a host of activities taking place across the farm.

Don't forget to head to Daphne's Tea Rooms for some seasonal snacks and more too!

The farm will be open from 10am until 4pm.

Quiz Night at The Plough

The weekly quiz at The Plough is a popular event at friendly village pub, and will be taking place again on Thursday 19 October. 

The event costs £1 per person to enter, max 6 person per team. 

Winning team get a round of drinks, and all teams go into a draw to crack the safe, so you don't even have to 'know it all' to be in with a chance!

Thursday Night Dinner at The Fox and Hounds

The Fox and Hounds will be hosting their £12 Thursday special again on 19 October.

This week's dish is a cheese burger with chips and homemade coleslaw, and you can enjoy a £3 Atlantic Pale Ale and other discounted drinks too.

Head down to 6 Somerby Road, Knossington to join the fun.

Farmers Market

Head down to Gaol Street on Saturday 21 October to enjoy the monthly farmers market in the heart of Oakham.

Buy fresh produce, crafts and gifts, or indulge in cooked food and meats direct from the farmers. 

See you there from 8:30am - 2pm.

Artisan Market

If you didn't get enough at the Farmers Market, from 11am until 3pm on Sunday 22 October, join The Barnsdale's Artisan Market.

Artisan foods, fabulous gifts, unique homewares and more...

The event will be undercover in the events barn, no need to worry about the weather!
