Young Innovators Club is excited to announce the launch of their very first Holiday Club, taking place this October Half-Term at Langham Village Hall. This brand-new camp is designed to spark creativity, curiosity, and confidence in children aged 5 (Year 1) to 12, combining STEM learning, coding, and hands-on innovation with plenty of fun and social interaction.

The Code and Create Camp marks the beginning of an exciting journey for Young Innovators Club, bringing cutting-edge learning experiences to Rutland families.

For their launch event, they've packed the week with exciting projects, including:

  • Rocket Engineering – Design, build, and launch your own rockets, testing how far and high they can go!
  • Micro:bit Gadgets – Create and program mini devices like step counters or reaction timers.
  • Game Design – Build interactive games using Scratch or Python.
  • Smart Sensors – Experiment with sensors to create alarms, temperature monitors, or light-reactive systems.

These activities encourage critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork, giving children real-world skills in a fun, hands-on way.

  • Dates: 20th – 24th October 2025
  • Times: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
