Oakham United FC: August Fixtures
The Oakham United fixtures for August are as follows:
10 August v Moulton Harrox (Home) - 2pm kick-off.
The first home game of the season is against the 2018/19 league champions so it will be a tough curtain raiser to the matches at Lands' End Meadow.
13 August v Uppingham Town (Away) - 6.30pm kick-off.
A local Rutland derby, which always has added interest and a chance to earn bragging rights - at least until the next encounter. Newly-promoted Uppingham will be out to prove a point.
17 August v ICA Sports (Away) - kick-off 2pm.
Last season the away match at Peterborough-based ICA Sports ended 3-3. Can Oakham go one better this time?
20 August v Ketton FC. (Home) - kick-off 7.30pm.
For this early-season encounter the visitors are the other Rutland-based team in the Peterborough and District League Premier Division. Last season Oakham won the home game
1-0. Oakham United play at Lands' End Meadow. The ground is located behind The King Centre, Main Road, Barleythorpe. Admission is free and drinks and snacks are available in the clubhouse.
