Oakham United Football Club Chairman quits

Thomas Beach has resigned as Chairman of Oakham United Football Club after just five months in the role.
Craig Shuttleworth, Oakham United Director and Football Club Secretary, told Oakham Nub News Mr Beach notified the club that he was quitting on 8 July...via a WhatsApp message.
Mr Shuttleworth said: "Oakham United Chairman Thomas Beach has resigned from his position.
"The club accepted his resignation with immediate effect and wished him well
for the future. "Tom has done some great work both at the club. "As a club, we will continue to carry on the good work and are now concentrating on moving forward." Mr Beach had been a manager for 11 seasons, including Raunds Town Reserves, before being appointed Chairman at Oakham United. Shortly after joining the club Mr Beach told Oakham Nub News his main ambition was for the team to be promoted from the Peterborough and District League Premier Division back to the United Counties League Division One, from which it was relegated in 2017. Mr Beach was unavailable for comment. Oakham United is now in the process of seeking a new Chairman.
