Funhouse Comedy Club is back at the Grainstore Brewery, Oakham on Thursday September 28 September for a night full of laughter.

Topping the bill is the effortlessly engaging Andrew Bird, who has appeared on TV on The Russell Howard Hour, was the support act on Michael McIntyre's recent arena tour and has also supported Rhod Gilbert and Lee Hurst on tour, as well as performing internationally. Watching The Young Ones with his brothers as an eight year old, at two in the morning on Comic Relief, he realized then that he wanted to be funny in some way. With his personal appeal and superbly crafted, funny anecdotes, he captivates his audiences.

Opening the night will be Dave's Edinburgh Comedy Award Nominee 2022 Josh Pugh, who has appeared on 'Hypothetical', 'Mock The Week' and 'Question Team' and supported Joe Lycett on tour. Winner of English Comedian of the Year 2016 and Best New Act at Midlands Comedy Awards 2014 and 2016, he has also written for '8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown', 'Never Mind The Buzzcocks', 'Newsjack' and 'The Now Show'. With his unusual and original wit he enthralls the crowd leaving them wanting for more.

Completing the line-up is the affable and laid-back Joseph Emslie, with his clever wordplay.

Compere for the night will be Barry Dodds winner of Best MC, Midlands Comedy Awards for 4 years running and co-star of the 'The ParaPod Movie' who charms everyone with his energy, spirit and tantalizing wit.
