- Hours: 39 hours per week 1 in 3 weekends on rota 15% weekend shift allowance
- Complete routine and emergency plumbing maintenance, fault finding, and repairs.
- Maintain and repair mains water supply systems and replace expired equipment.
- Conduct water sampling and risk assessments in line with Legionella (L8) guidance.
- Monitor and manage systems via the Building Management System (BMS).
- Support sustainability goals through energy-efficient practices.
- Ensure health and safety compliance and assist with tasks such as working at height or outdoors when needed.
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent trade qualification).
- Experience operating light plant and plumbing systems in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Understanding of Legionella control and commercial plumbing systems (desirable).
- A strong commitment to health and safety practices.
- Willingness to work 1 in 3 weekends (with 15% uplift in basic salary).
- Ability to pass prison security clearance (full support provided during the process).
