Our Main Contractor client is looking to engage a Site Manager based in the Oakham area to initially deliver a single project in the school summer holiday period which may then lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.

The project is the delivery of fire upgrade works to an existing school including Fire Alarm Systems, Sprinklers, Fire Doors and Ceiling works and will be delivered on a committed time frame so the successful Manager must have previous experience of working to tight programmes and demonstrate a 'can do' attitude.

Delivery of similar planned maintenance/refurbishment works in either a domestic or commercial environment is essential to undertake this project.

The ideal candidate must be extremely client facing with the ability to foster an excellent working relationship with both the client representative and the Headteacher.

As this is a school, in addition to holding SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS and Asbestos Awareness you must also have, or be in a position to apply for an Enhanced DBS certificate.

There will be a 2 week lead in period to the project and you must be willing to commit to the full duration of the project, working at a weekend if required.
