To implement continuous improvements methodologies, making suggestions to improve manufacturing processes. Manage project resources, ensuring that the budget is adhered to and all compliance is carried out correctly. Write equipment specifications that are easy to understand, ensuring a smooth hand over to the production team. Carry out all work according to company procedures and Health & Safety Policies The Requirements Previous experience working in an improvements/development position within a manufacturing environment (essential) Previous experience surrounding installation and commissioning of plant machinery (essential) Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic capabilities (essential) Relevant Electrical/Mechanical Qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQs) - Advantageous Knowledge of PLC and/or Servo control systems (advantageous) Understanding of CAD packages, preferably SolidWorks or AutoCAD (Advantageous) Full UK Driving License requiredInteraction Recruitment have specialist consultants across the majority of industries within the UK, including but not limited to, Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
