Uppingham Theatre is seeking a skilled Lighting Designer for our late November production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.

About the Production:

Based on Mark Haddon's award-winning novel, this adaptation by Simon Stephens delves into the unique perspective of Chris, a young child with an extraordinary mind. We aim to create an exciting, contemporary experience that captivates our audience.

What We're Looking For:

  • Innovative lighting concepts that enhance the emotional depth of the story
  • Ability to collaborate with our director and design team
  • Experience in theatrical lighting design preferred, but this role could suit a skilled lighting engineer
  • A passion for creating atmosphere and enhancing narrative
  • Enrolled in the DBS update service
