Job Title: Logistics Manager

Location: Rutland

Salary: 28,000- 35,000

Hours: 5 Days a week including alternate weekends

Contract Type: Full time, permanent

Our client based in Rutland is looking for a permanent Logistics Manager to join their fast growing team.

As a Logistics Manager you will be responsible for:

• Reviewing and updating supply chain practices in line with company policies, standards, laws and regulations

• Negotiating terms and prices with suppliers and freight companies, monitoring and assessing their performance and maintaining cost-effective practices

• Implementing logistic strategies, tracking goods from the origination point to the warehouse

• Analysing the supply chain data and solving any issues or putting alternative plans in place

• Identifying and minimising risk by predicting the demand for products

• Managing inventory, packing and distributing

• Developing safety guidelines, teaching and enforcing the protocols

• Supervising and training employees

• Working with the technical team to make sure high safety standards are met.
