HGV Class 1 Bulk Tipper Drivers Required (adhoc)

£42,250pa to £57,200pa depending on Shift

Ultimate Workforce are currently working with a large client of ours who are recruiting for enthusiastic adhoc Class 1 Bulk Tipper Drivers to cover for holiday and other absences. Our client is a major player in agricultural, food and special transport, and has sites based in Greetham Wood and Peterborough.

Days and tramping are available, with national, international and long distance work expected to continue throughout the year. We welcome candidates with 6+ months driving experience.

2x driver's for Greetham Wood, Rutland County

Day to Day Duties Involve:

Carrying out daily vehicle walk-around checks, ensuring that your allocated vehicle is in a safe and legal condition. This role will also involve checking any given load is secure and safe for transit, and that the collection and delivery of grain/aggregates/potatoes is completed in a safe and timely manner. Following all on-site instructions is expected.

Requirements:

• Current UK Driving Licence (Required)
• Valid CPC and Digi Card (Required)
• 6 months' Bulk/Tipper experience (Required)
• Proficient in the operation of vehicle PTO's
• Experience of loading/unloading grain (preferred)
• Ability to work/drive in all weather conditions (Required)

Hours and shifts patterns:

6 on 3 off days/tramping

4 on 4 off days/tramping

Days with varying shift patterns available

Both shift patterns will have varying AM start times

Salary:

£42,250 p.a. to £57,200 p.a.

Nights out £25.00 per night

Minimum 8 hours pay per shift

As part of the requirements of this position, drivers will be required to take a short driving assessment before the offer of work.
