TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Oakham based SEND school who are looking to secure a Motor Vehicle Instructor for short term cover with immediate effect. The Motor Vehicle Instructor will be teaching classes of 4-11 pupils of mixed age grouped on ability and needs.

The right Motor Vehicle Instructor must have experience working with young people. Excellent classroom management and previous experience in a SEND school or SEND provision desired of the right Motor Vehicle Instructor.

The school has an excellent reputation and is a great place to work; the staff are welcoming, friendly and supportive of one another.

Due to the location of the school, a full and clean UK drivers licence and access to a car, is required.

The ideal Motor Vehicle Instructor will have:

• Experience working with young people.
• Experience teaching or working with Motor vehicles
• The ability to follow the National Curriculum and provide creative lessons
• Positive approach to teaching
• The ability to build good relationships with the staff and pupils
• Fantastic classroom management
• An enhanced DBS Certificate
