A chance has cropped up for young Rutland residents to make friends and learn new skills in a volunteering programme led by Rutland Water, and applications close on Sunday the 21st of August.

Rutland Water is home to Rutland Aqua Park, Rutland Water Sailing Club, the Rutland Water Nature Reserve and much more - now, the team are on the look out to attract more young members of the community via the introduction of their new scheme.

The Anglian Water team are looking for individuals aged between 16 and 21 to be part of a new Volunteer Young Rangers programme at Rutland Water.

Working alongside the Anglian Water Park Rangers, volunteers will gain skills and experience in conservation and working in outdoor spaces. This is a great opportunity to enhance your CV and prepare for future job opportunities.
