Bill's Bar, in the centre of Oakham, has announced a grand opening amid huge renovations.

Bill's Bar, Oakham's popular nightclub and sports bar, will be relaunching on 6 April 2023 following renovations works taking place now.

The venue is extending into the adjacent unit, formerly Harpers Hair and Beauty.

The venue is set to embrace a brand new look and a 'brand-new price point', according to Owner, Jonathan Spencer.

He said: "I'm not gonna lie, I didn't think this was going to happen, but we are finally getting there. Pretty much six years to the day that we opened, we now have a date for version 2.0 to open. Just in time for the El Banco Easter weekend!"

The team are installing a new dance floor, providing a much larger space to boogy, and hope to introduce new events and DJs in the coming months.

The bar remains open while work is underway, but the team has announced that the bar will need to be closed for a few days prior to their much-anticipated relaunch.

The closure dates are yet to be announced.
