Check out the 10 Oakham businesses nominated in the finals of the regional Muddy Awards

Muddy Stilettos have announced the finalists for the 2025 Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Muddy Awards regional finals and voting is open to choose your favourite.

Out of the 105 businesses in the regional finals from across the three counties, 10 Oakham based businesses have been nominated. 

The voting for the regional finals close on 15th April and 1pm and voting for your favourite local business can be done on the Muddy Stilettos website. 

The nominations are across 21 categories, including: Arts, Culture and Theatre; Event Venue; Family Experience; Lifestyle Store; Wellbeing Specialist; and many more.

Of the 105 businesses nominated, ten are Oakham-based. Hambleton Hall and The Hide at Manton Bay have been nominated for best boutique stay. Scandi Coffee Co has been nominated for best café and The View at Rutland Nursery for best casual dining. For destination pub, The Finch's Arms has been picked and All Saints is in the hair salon category. The Barnsdale has been nominated for best hotel, with Hitchen's Barn on the list for best restaurant. For well-being specialist, Oakham's Excellence Physio has made the list and for Women's Style, Cavells has been nominated. 

Other notable mentions are Uppingham based businesses Don Paddy's for best Casual Dining, Goodwin & Bell for Lifestyle Store, The Falcon Hotel for best Hotel and Thomas Hairdressing for Hair Salon.
