Rutland has recorded just one extra case of coronavirus today putting the total number of confirmed cases in the county at a dozen.
The figure comes as over the border in Lincolnshire, the number of confirmed cases topped 500.
Nationally, the total figure is approaching 100,000.
As reported by Oakham Nub News this morning , the figures are based on residency, so even if county residents are treated at hospitals outside the county, they will still be counted as Rutland.
However, Rutland County Council says that the county will have other unconfirmed cases of coronavirus not included in the NHS figures as they do not include care homes and cases in people's homes.
All the same, figures revealed by Public Health England this afternoon said neighbouring Lincolnshire has 503 cases, an increase of 23 on the 480 reported yesterday.
The figures come as the United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust confirmed three further patients have died in its hospitals who had tested positive with the virus, bringing to total of deaths in its hospitals to 65.
A statement added: "The patients were two men aged 82 and 88, and one woman aged 79. All had underlying health conditions."
The North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, which runs hospitals at Stamford, Peterborough and Hinchingbrooke did not update its figures today.
Across the region, Leicestershire saw an increase in the number of cases from 553 to 564.
North East Lincolnshire saw an increase from 79 to 84.
North Lincolnshire reported an increase from 124 to 136.
Peterborough saw an increase from 103 to 108.
Nationally, according to the NHS, the UK has 98,476 confirmed cases, an increase of 4,605 on yesterday.
