Traffic on the A606 bypass to the north of Oakham is slow following an accident that took place late this morning, Monday the 21st of November 2022.

Temporary traffic lights have been set up while gas works are undertaken opposite Schofield Road, just off the A606 bypass.

It appears as though the accident occurred as a result of the temporary traffic lights.

At least one vehicle was severely damaged in the incident.
