More strikes across multiple fields have been announced this New Year, with rail unions, postal services and driving instructors taking strike action nationwide throughout January.
The first week in January saw strikes from National Highway Workers, driving instructors, and rail employees. Read more here.
These strikes, and more, are set to continue throughout the month.

Monday 9 January
The DVSA strike continues in London, south-east England, south-west England and Wales.
RPA staff resume strike action.
Tuesday 10 January
The Educational Institute of Scotland (EIS) union will strike in primary schools, special schools and early years provision.

Abellio Bus drivers in south and west London resume strike action.
RPA staff resume strike action.
Wednesday 11 January
Unison and GMB Ambulance workers strike in England and Wales.
The EIS union will stage another strike in secondary schools and secondary special schools.
RPA staff resume strike action.
Thursday 12 January
Prospect members who work on the Elizabeth line will go on strike.
Abellio Bus drivers in south and west London continue strike action.
RPA staff resume strike action.
Friday 13 January
RPA staff resume strike action.
Monday 16 January
Abellio Bus drivers in south and west London continue strike action.
EIS to stage a national strike action. This will continue for 16 days and end on 2 February, with members in two local authorities striking each day.
Wednesday 18 January
Environment Agency (EA) workers will strike. This will be the first strike in the history of the organisation.
Royal College of Nursing (RCN) Nurses begin strike action in England.
Thursday 19 January
The nurses continue strike action into a second day.
Abelliio Bus drivers in south and west London continue strike action.
RPA staff resume strike action.
Monday 23 January
Unison members working for five ambulance services in England will stage another walkout.
Wednesday 25 January
Abellio Bus drivers in south and west London continue strike action.
Members of the GMB union who work in Amazon's Coventry warehouse will take industrial action.
