A popular Rutland-based record shop has launched a website to accompany their popular shop and music haven in Oakham.
Owned and run by Dean Poole, Rocka-Buy Records is a one stop shop for all things musical, from vinyl and record players to merchandise and expert knowledge from Dean himself.
Now, the local business has launched a website selling the store's branded merchandise and vinyl that can also be found in store.
Prior to taking on the shop, located in The Maltings, Dean Pool was the Care Manager at Rutland County Council, who has a passion for great customer service and supporting local people.
Initially located at 8 The Maltings, last September, Dean relocated to the former home of Sweeney Todd the barbers to make space for his ever-growing stock.
Since then, they have helped 100s of music lovers find the perfect record, stocked some seriously cool rare records and welcomed a brand new sign, painted by local artist, Anna Margaret Art.
The team also celebrated two years of trade earlier this year.
Dean Poole decided to take the leap and open the store after a full-time career as a carer for the NHS. During the tail end of the pandemic, his dream became a reality.
While it has not been without its trials, Rocka-Buy has also witnessed many a tribulation and, with Dean's ongoing zeal, it is clear to see why.
No matter your taste, he is enthusiastic about music and so passionate about making sure that you walk out of the store with the perfect record to add to your collection.
For a little taste of this enthusiasm, as well as a variety of videos, reels and images of what is on offer in store, follow Rocka-Buy Records on Facebook or check out the brand new website.
Alternatively, email [email protected] to share your own good news, stories, local events and more.
We look forward to hearing from you.
