Motorcyclist seriously injured in crash with car in Rutland

Police are appealing for information following a serious collision in Rutland yesterday (18 March).
Rutland Police were called to the A6003 between Preston and Manton just before 3pm, following the report of a collision involving a black Mercedes-Benz Allied and a green Kawasaki ZX636 motorcycle.
The motorcycle rider, who was a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital, where he is still being treated for serious injuries.
No one has been arrested but Police are asking to speak to witnesses.
Detective Sergeant Kasie McMahon, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU), said: 'Our enquiries to establish the circumstances of the incident are continuing and I'd like to speak to anyone that can help.
'We are particularly keen to speak to any motorists with a dashcam or who witnessed the collision. We'd also like to speak to anyone who saw either vehicle beforehand.
'Any information you're able to provide could assist our ongoing investigation.'
