A new art group is launching in Oakham tomorrow, Tuesday 13 June 2023.

A group of amateur artists and painters will be meeting for the first time at Oakham's Eco Emporium and refill shop this week.

The session is free of charge but Rutland Refill are an independent business and would love for attendees to enjoy a tea or coffee or indulge in a slice of their homemade cakes and snacks.

The shop also sells a host of eco friendly goods, handmade produce, reusable items and more - so it is well worth a visit, even if you aren't feeling artistic!

A spokesperson for the group said: "We are a small group of amateur painters meeting for the forest time tomorrow at the Eco Emporium Oakham. This is a new group of people meeting for the first time, if you would like to join us please let me know as places are limited."

The group will be meeting from 1pm - 3pm on Tuesday 13 June at 1 Westgate Street and, if it's a success, the intention is that the meet will be a regular weekly event.
