Oakham Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Club celebrate 4th anniversary

The Oakham Armed Forces and Veteran's Breakfast Club will be celebrating their 4th anniversary this weekend, Saturday the 6th of August 2022.

The Oakham Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Club was formed in 2018 in memory of an army veteran who took his own life after 24 years of service.

The Breakfast Club are a group of all arms, serving members and veterans of Her Majesty's Armed Forces. All serving, ex-serving, and forces connected individuals are welcome.

To celebrate their 4th birthday, the Club will be meeting at The Grainstore this Saturday the 6th of August from 9am for food, company, and good old military banter.

The team said: "The club has gone from strength to strength and in that time we as a club have supported each other sometimes through tough times. The club is only has good as its members so thank you!

"We look forward to seeing you."
