Oakham Baptist Church (OBC) turned 250 this month, and this weekend welcomed revellers to join them in Cutts Close to mark the milestone.

The free event kicked off at 11am on 28 May with an open air service. Celebrations then officially began at 12pm, and included food, live music, games and fun for the whole family.

Rutland residents from all walks of life flocked to the event, which saw Cutts Close bursting at the seams.

Adults and children enjoyed games, a free cream tea, a bouncy castle, activities and some wonderful Great British weather.

Local bands also joined the fray, with performers such as Stelify Music, Jake Wells and RAW The Collective hitting the stage throughout the day.
