The fourth of the monthly markets in Gaol Street, Oakham, will be taking place early in October.
Organised by the 4Oakham Community Interest Company, the markets are held on the first Saturday of the month, with the next on Saturday August 7.
As Nub News previously reported, the first market took place in July.
Coun June Titterton-Fox of 4Oakham told Nub News: "All profits are reinvested for other projects to benefit Oakham Town. We have reinvested the money collected from the first 3 markets into buying Commercial graded Gazebo's.
"Most of our traders are micro companies who have set up on line, selling from home. By providing a Gazebo already erected means that it takes away a cost barrier when trying out a new venture or a new way of promoting their arts and crafts business."
June continued: "Gaol Street in Oakham is an excellent venue as it has a really high footfall with shoppers and visitors parking in Tesco's and walking up to the High Street.
"Last month we had 14 very individual stalls which all did extremely well and we hope to build on that month by month. Our crafters only have to commit to one month which means we have a changeable selection of traders so there is always something different to buy."
She added: "So, if there are any crafters out there who would like to have a space on Saturday 2nd October, then please can they contact [email protected]."
- Nub News is keen to support local events, especially as we come out of lockdown, to help them gain the support they need and deserve.
