This week, we have is seeking a Sales and Marketing Manager at a 4-star country hotel and spa in Rutland.
The full-time job pays £30,000- £35,000 (depending on experience), working 5 days 940-45 hours) a week.

"We are working in partnership with our client to recruit for an enthusiastic Sales & Marketing Manager. They boast a luxury 4-star hotel and spa which is situated in 65 acres of beautiful country estate. Due to being under new ownership and with several fantastic growth plans/projects in the pipeline, the company are now looking for a new member to join their team.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Maintain a calm and composed appearance and behave in a professional manner at all times.
- Communicate effectively with the rest of the team at all times. To answer all calls to the office promptly (within five rings) and log effectively all enquiries.
- Liaise and develop with auxiliary suppliers good relationships to help the clients and hotel receive excellent service.
- Prepare function sheets for the Events Meeting weekly.
- Inform other members of the meetings and events team immediately of any new information provided in weekly Events Meetings.
- To immediately address any issues of bullying, sexual harassment, inappropriate conduct and bad language. This is not to be tolerated under any circumstances from any level. If this or anything similar occurs you must immediately report it to your line manager.
- To maintain all company property given in a satisfactory condition.
- To tour all prospective clients and up-sell all aspects of the resort to them. This includes weekend work as required.
- Follow up all provisional bookings within two weeks. If they do not confirm then cancel them.
- Take a 25% non-refundable deposit on all bookings and record accurately all monies taken so that you have all relevant information for the day of the function.
- Confirm in writing to all clients the planned event and get them to sign to agree the terms and conditions/booking contract for everything that has been planned.
- Follow up all bookings in good time before an event so as to be able to gain the maximum amount of information for the event and minimising the volume of updates.
- Take full payment for all events prior to the event taking place, needs to be credit checked by accounts before agreeing a credit account.
- To meet and greet every client at the beginning of their function to ensure that the client is fully satisfied.
- Monitor customer satisfaction through appropriate means i.e. by contacting guests after their functions to establish customer satisfaction."
