Oakham's Mayor, Sally-Anne Wadsworth, was elected in May 2022 and since then has been seen supporting the local community at a range of events in and around Oakham.

From putting up bunting in advance of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations to providing free second hand school uniform for those in need, Sally-Anne has already shown the Oakham residents that she is a community champion.

Now, at the Lord Lieutenant's Party in the Park on the 10th of July, Sally-Anne has been seen mucking in with the rest of the team, litter picking and clearing away chairs after the celebrations.

Sally-Anne said: "What a great event. It's a pleasure to be here and to join the community.

Sally-Anne has also recently announced that she will be supporting the Girl Guides as her charity.
