Local fundraising group For Rutland have had another hugely successful event, raising over £10,000 at Rutland County Show with their Grand Bottle Tombola.

For Rutland is a volunteer-run group that raises funds for Citizens Advice Rutland to pay for specialist advisors to provide support to people of all ages living with long-term health conditions in Rutland and the surrounding area.

Earlier this year, For Rutland raised over £57,000 with their annual Good and New Clothes sale at Rutland Hall Hotel.

'The generosity of local residents, businesses and volunteers was truly remarkable; it was a wonderful community effort and one of our most successful tombola to date.'

Jeannette Warner, Chair of the fundraising group, said: 'We are enormously grateful to everyone who supported this year's Bottle Tombola.
