Rutland dancers get set to put on Christmas show

The talented students at Rutland Youth Dance Academy (RYDA) are getting ready to put on their production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Students and young dancers from Rutland are, this week, hosting their production go the Roald Dahl classic at The Stamford Corn Exchange.

RYDA is a local dance academy for young people in Rutland who are keen to get fit, learn a new skill and make life-long friends.

The students and teachers at the academy believe that performing in front of a crowd is a life changing experience and huge confidence boost for everybody. At RYDA, the team provide fun, energetic weekly classes working towards exciting, high quality performance opportunities.

Join the troop this December as they head to Wonkaville and take a trip inside the weird and wonderful chocolate factory. Will it be everything that Charlie ever imagined and will all her wildest dreams come true? Sit back and enjoy this alternative tale of Charlie and the Chocolate factory.

They will be performing at the Stamford Corn Exchange Theatre on Sunday 10 December at 1:30pm and 5:30pm.
