The Rutland Flower Club is back for 2024, and the first meeting for the green-fingered group is set to take place in March.

The club was first formed in May 1960, and is still attracting those with a flare for flowers, horticulture hobbyists and professional florists.

Rutland is a hive of activity for gardeners and flower lovers, being the home of the community allotment, Growers Row, and multiple 'in Bloom' volunteer groups which keep the local area pretty and compete for national awards, as well as being a place of natural beauty and bragging miles of outdoor space and nature reserves.

The country's smallest county - boasting the motto "much in little" translated from the Latin "Multum in Parvo" - is also home to the Rutland Flower Club.

The Rutland Flower Club meets on the first Tuesday of every month, from March until December. The monthly meetings take place at Oakham Methodist Church at 7pm for a 7:30pm start.
