Rutland is looking forward to welcoming Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, who will visit the County tomorrow, Tuesday 14 May.

The visit will include Rutland Showground, Oakham Castle and Oakham Library, as well as Rutland Water.

The Showground, Castle and library buildings will be closed to members of the public on the day of the visit.

There will be an opportunity to see Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess when they visit The Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Statue, adjacent to Oakham Library, which is expected around midday.

Catmose Street will be closed between Mill Street and Stamford Road from 9am to 3pm on Tuesday 14 May, with no parking available in bays opposite Oakham Library.

For further information about temporary traffic measures and parking restrictions, please contact Rutland County Council.
