Santa is heading to Rutland this December

On the approach to Christmas, Santa will be visiting a number of streets in and around Oakham and Rutland with the help of the Rutland Lions.

The Lions Club of Rutland was created in 1975 and have since contributed many thousands of pounds each year to help local organisations and individuals.

They focus on community-led causes and organise a host of local events each year, most notably their annual Firework Display in November, followed by December's Santa trail.

This year, Santa will once again be visiting villages across Rutland:

Thursday 14th December Uppingham Route 1 – 17.30 Start

The Beeches, Hawthorn Drive, Hazel Close, Bramble Close, Elizabeth Way, Gainsborough Road, The Quadrant, Seaton Road, Hornbeam Lane, Blackthorn Close

Friday 15th December Uppingham Route 2  – 17.30 Start

Goldfinch Road, Siskin Road, Firs Avenue, Branston Road, Metcalfe Crescent, Johnson Road, Cottesmore Road, Lime Tree Avenue, Caudebec Close, Newtown Road, Newtown Crescent, Stockerston Crescent, Bayley Close 

Saturday 16th December Oakham Route 1 – 17.30 Start

Huntsman Drive, Prince George Ave, Ellingworth Close, Stud Road (South), Farrer Way, Hetterley Drive,
