Drawing and Sketching Workshop

Join Dee Sowden for a relaxed Saturday morning drawing and sketching workshop. These popular 3 hour workshops (10 am - 1.00 pm) will be run in small groups to ensure personal guidance.

Included in the session is also a hot drink and cake from The Larder Café.

Talk on Battersea Power Station at Rutland County Museum

Ian Swankie is a Londoner with a contagious enthusiasm for art, architecture and official guide at Tate Modern. This is a talk by Oakham Arts Society about just one building. It has 60 million bricks, four chimneys and an amazing story to tell. Planned in the 1920s It is now a Grade 2* listed building, brilliantly converted into a landmark development.

National Theatre Live 'Hamlet' at Wymondham Village Hall

Olivier Award-winner Hiran Abeysekera is Hamlet in this fearless, contemporary take on Shakespeare's famous tragedy.

Trapped between duty and doubt, surrounded by power and privilege, young Prince Hamlet dares to ask the ultimate question – you know the one.

This live production will be screened at Wymondham Village Hall on Thursday 22 January at 7.30pm.
