Connie Taylor Ceramics will be hosting an exciting pottery workshop in Oakham next month.

The pressed flower workshops will take place on 21 September between 11am and 1pm or 1.30am and 3.30pm.

Connie is inviting people to "Arrange and imprint the dried flowers onto a pre-rolled slab of clay using a slab roller, and choose from a number of cutters to make up to six coasters.

"Make the most of any clay scraps by cutting little feet for your coasters; or even a few smaller items such as key rings and gift tags - it's up to you!"

The pressed flower workshops will take place on 21 September (Connie Taylor).

The two-hour workshop comes with step-by-step instructions and a fully qualified instructor so even if you are a complete notice you can get fully stuck in.

All tools and materials are provided as well as two firings, glazes and a special sealant for any unglazed sections - and it wouldn't be a 'proper craft workshop' without tea/coffee and biscuits!

The workshop costs £60 and can be booked here.
