Victoria Hall welcomes 2023 with new season of events

Victoria Hall are welcoming a range of family-friendly, couples, and solo events in early 2023, and you are invited.

Since the appointment of new Chairman, David Graham, in April 2022, Victoria Hall has seen a host of improvements.

One of these is the introduction of a brand-new events schedule aimed at a huge cross-section of the local community, from artists-in-the-making to disco dancers.

Grand Bar Reopening featuring Manky Beds

You are invited to the public reopening of the Victoria Hall Bar on Friday 27 January 2023 from 7:30pm until 11pm.

Entry is free to this evening of drinks and music featuring local 4-piece band Manky Beds, plus DJ.

Drinks promotions will be available and the bar is being provided by The Grainstore Brewery.

Donations to the Victoria Hall Charity are welcome on the night to help us provide more events for the community.

Numbers limited to 250 so arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Beginner pastel Workshop

On 3 February and 10 February 2023, Andrea Naylor will be returning to Victoria Hall with a Pastel Workshop.

This 3 hour workshop is an ideal way to experience pastels via a step by step guide. No need for prior experience, learn techniques on how to create realistic eye detail and fur texture. A relaxed and informal environment where you can immerse yourself into a world of creativity promoting confidence and mental well-being.

Disco for Grownups

Victoria Hall are hosting a 'Disco for Grownups' on 11 March 2023 from 7:15pm.

Enjoy tunes from the 70's, 80's and 90's.

Rutland Big Band and Lindyhop Dance Night

On Saturday 25 March 2023, head down to Victoria Hall to enjoy an evening 0f Lindyhop dance and big tunes from Rutland Big Band.

The evening starts at 7:30pm

Rutland Food and Drink Festival

The annual Rutland Food & Drink Festival is returning on 26 March 2023!

Organised by Carolyn Acton-Reed Events, this one is always popular and brings together local food and drink creators and suppliers in a day of indulgence and friendship.

There will be stalls and more in Victoria Hall, Oakham High Street, and Oakham Market Place.

There will also be a live cooking demonstration with TV chef, Phil Vickery.

This is a daytime event.
