On Saturday the 6th of August, The Plough in Greetham are adding to their delicious pub menu, ice-cream parlour and family-friendly gardens by opening their in-house Village Store.

The Plough in Greetham has become a firm favourite with Greetham and Rutland residents alike, famous for their daily deals such as Monday Burger Night and Saturday Breakfast Club.

They are now adding to this long list of attractions by opening an in-house Village Store to cater for the local residents.

They have already announced a few of the Rutland-based businesses that they will be stocking.

These include but are not limited to produce from Lily and Honey Bakery and Owen Taylor & Sons Ltd. Butchers.

Visitors to The Plough can expect to see creations such as this from Lily and Honey

Lily and Honey will be supplying fresh cakes and pastries, with sourdough and fresh breads to follow.

Meanwhile, as the only meat supplier to The Plough, Owen Taylor & Sons will be bringing to the store: award winning pies, a range of meats including chicken and sausage, BBQ packs. Roasting joints of meat and full chickens will also be available to order in.

Owen Taylor & Sons have won awards for their Steak and Stilton Pie

The Store will also be home to an Off License, supplying bottled beers, wines and spirits for customers to take away at their leisure.

More suppliers are set to be announced on The Plough Facebook page on the run up to their grand opening, which will take place on Saturday the 6th of August 2022.

Alternatively, find out more about the pub and the daily deals on offer on their website.

The Plough in Greetham opens from 12pm on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, 5pm on Tuesday and Wednesday, and from 9am on Saturday.

The Village Store will be open 7 days a week 'early till late'.
