Rutland Refill, a local company selling food, household, beauty and home products in an environmentally conscious, low packaging way, are hosting a range of community events throughout June and July 2022.

These events are open to the community and are an addition to the many causes and initiatives already set up and undertaken by the company.

The community interest company have been open since July 2021. Since opening, they have played host to a cake and coffee day which raised upwards of £240 for Ukraine, as well as ticking numerous charitable events off of their list, such as the Community Raffle in March of this year.

The team said: "As a community interest company all our groups are to help and support our local community combat loneliness and come together in a friendly environment. A lot of our group are held by our volunteers."

The schedule of events are wide ranging and inclusive.

In June they will be:

22nd - Crafty Coffee with Steph at 10am

23rd - Bingo at 4pm

28th - Knitting with Purpose with Annie at 10am

30th - Quiz at 4pm.

Following on from this, July will bring:

6th - Rutland Book Nook Club at 3.30pm

7th - Pagan Moot at 5pm

14th - Board games at 4pm

20th - Crafty Coffee with Steph at 10am

21st - Spiritual Medium Evening with Alison Stead at 5pm - £25 including afternoon tea - Tickets only call 01572 897277

On top of this, every Thursday the Rutland Refill team and customers get together with free tea, coffee & biscuits at 3pm.

The shop will be celebrating its first birthday on the 29th of July 2022, so hopefully we can expect more celebrations from this lively and innovative local team.
