The Fox and Hounds Meal Deal

The Fox and Hounds will be hosting their £12 Thursday special again on 21 December.

This week's delightful dish will be pork belly served with sautéd potatoes, veg and gravy - and you can enjoy discounted drinks and a wonderful festive atmosphere as the team mark their last Thursday meal deal before Christmas.

Head down to 6 Somerby Road, Knossington to join the fun.

Christmas Quiz and Carols

Join a Christmas quiz and carol singing at The Plough in Greetham on 21 December. 

On Thursday 21, the Greetham Carol Singers will be joining the team at The Plough for some festive tunes ahead of the weekly pub quiz - which this week is set to have a festive twist!

Join the team early for a plate of food and a drink. Kids - big and small - and dogs are welcome. 

Singing starts at 7:30pm, and the quiz will start after.

Christmas Crafts and Stories at Rutland Library

Join the Rutland Library team from 10:30am until 11:30am on 22 December for some festive fun at Oakham Library! 

Take part in festive crafts and a story session for children aged 4 - 11. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Booking is essential, so please sign up at Oakham Library or call the team on 01572 722918.

Christmas Party at The Old Buttercross

Join the team at The Old Buttercross for their ever-popular party night on 22 December, starting at 7pm.

Enjoy fizz on arrival, a three course meal, and an evening of music and dancing with Funked Up. 

Whether you're looking for a table for two or 50, this night offers the party for you!

Santa Clause is coming to town

Rutland Lions Club is also continuing its annual Santa drive this weekend.

Santa will be stopping at houses in Uppingham and Oakham from Thursday until Sunday, with more fun to come as Christmas approaches.
