Comedy Night at The Grainstore

Funhouse Comedy Club brings another night full of laughter to the Grainstore Brewery, Oakham on Thursday the 24th of November 2022.

Opening the night will be TV and radio presenter and multi award winning comedian Matt Richardson.

Also appearing is plummy, funny and firey, Diane Spencer, an award-winning comedian with a rapidly growing YouTube channel of over 10K subscribers and 1 million views.

Topping the bill is Alun Cochrane who has appeared on numerous TV shows including Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow, Russell Howard's Good News, Mock The Week and Coronation Street.

Compere for the night will be the quick-witted and likeable Paul Revill.

Tickets are £12 in advance, doors open at 6:15pm, last orders for food are 7.15pm, and the show starts at 8pm.

Calendar Girls at Rutland County Museum

Tim Firth's hilarious play Calendar Girls is based on the true story of eleven W.I. members who famously posed nude for a calendar to raise money for the Leukaemia Research (Now Blood Cancer UK)

Horseshoe Theatre Company are proud to presents this heartwarming play based on the Miramax motion picture by Juliette Towhidi and Tim Firth. All the proceeds from the play will go to Blood Cancer UK.

Doors open at 7pm, and the play starts at 7:30pm on the 25th and 26th of November 2022.

Victoria Hall Skiwear Sale

On the 26th and 27th of November, Victoria Hall are hosting their Annual Ski Wear Sale.

The event will run from 9am until 5pm on Saturday, and 10am until 4pm on Sunday.

Embrace the chance to grab some bargains for hitting the slopes, keeping warm in the UK, or to sort out that perfect Christmas gift for the adventurer in your life.

Victoria Hall have a lively revamped events schedule

Tolethorpe Clothing and Costume Sale

Just a short drive from Oakham towards Stamford, Tolethorpe Hall will be hosting a vintage clothing and costume sale this Sunday the 17th of November 2022.

Browse and buy costume, accessories and fabrics from the Stamford Shakespeare Company archive, as well as vintage, preloved, nearly new clothing and accessories, and more!

Doors open to the public at 10am and the event runs until 4pm

There is free parking and you must bring cash.

Rutland Big Band Concert

Keep your weekend going until Monday with the Rutland Big Band Concert at All Saints' Church on Monday the 28th of November 2022.

The Rutland Big Band will be entertaining Rutland residents with a wide variety of music including swing, latin, vocal and instrumental pieces including a few Christmas numbers. 

All proceeds will go towards the window restoration project at All Saints' Church. 

Tickets are now on sale at £10 and available from Oakham Wines and All Saints Church.
