There is adventure around every corner this weekend in Oakham, beginning with an open water swim in Rutland Water on Thursday night:

Rutland Water Tower Swim

Kick off your weekend early this Thursday with an open water swim at Rutland Water!

On the 21st of July 2022, visitors will take a dip and join a non-competitive open water swim to the tower in Rutland Water.

The event runs from 6:30 pm - 8:30pm and costs £25.

Conquer Rockingham Castle

On Saturday the 23rd of July, visitors to Rockingham Castle will run as many 5k laps of the castle as they can within 6 hours, either solo or part of a team.

Plants, Plants, Plants at Barnsdale Gardens

On Sunday the 24th of July, Barnsdale Gardens will be hosting a plant and flower event suitable for all the family.

Join us for a plant themed day. Enjoy casual walks and talks with BBC Radio 4's Matt Biggs and self-guided tours of how plants can be used in various ways and children can enjoy making a flower themed bookmark.

This event will take place from 12pm - 4pm.
