Where and when to catch the Rugby Six Nations in Rutland this weekend

This Saturday, the 2024 Rugby Six Nations tournament kicks off, and we are here to help you find the perfect spot to catch the action.

The Guinness Six Nations Rugby Championships, featuring England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales, was founded in 1882 and is is an annual international men's rugby union competition beloved by players, fans, and Guinness drinkers alike.

Much to the delight of many Rutland-based fans, the squad contains a number of Leicester Tigers players, including Ollie Chessum, Dan Cole, Joe Heyes, and Freddie Steward.

The upcoming games will take place this weekend, on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 February 2024:

First up, Scotland will face France at 2:15pm on Saturday, followed by England vs Wales at 4:45pm.

On Sunday, Ireland will take on Italy at 3pm.

Whether you play or follow the game, rugby fans across Rutland can watch the Six Nations at a range of venues across the county:

The Plough in Greetham and Greetham Community Centre will also be screening the upcoming tournament, as well as The Lord Nelson in Oakham Market Place.
