A new handrail is to be installed in Uppingham to help residents and visitors negotiate trio of tricky steps more safely.

Uppingham Town Council has secured listed building consent from Rutland County Council to attach a decorative black wrought iron handrail to the Grade II Listed wall alongside the uneven steps at the western end of Leamington Terrace.
