Girls' Football heads to Oakham School as Lionesses aim for World Cup win
A Girls' Football tournament is heading to Oakham School this month as success for the Lionesses in the Women's World Cup continues.
From 20 to 22 August, the 2007 Girls' Tournament will take place at Oakham School as a part of Specialist Soccer's UK summer tour.
Specialist Soccer, headed up by Tom Statham, organises unforgettable sporting experiences with elite English clubs across the country.
This will not be their first visit to Oakham School, and the tournament is highly anticipated both by participants and spectators.
All are welcome to attend, with food and drinks available on site.
Parking is also available at Oakham School's Schanschieff's Car Park, Ashwell Road, Oakham, LE15 6QG, costing £4 per day or £8 per car for all three days of the tournament.
Visitors are reminded by Oakham School that they should refrain for parking in neighbouring residential streets.
There is no parking for spectators at the Tournament Venue.
Upon arrival at the school car park, a member of the Oakham School Staff will meet you to take payment for parking (this can be made via card or cash - card payment is preferred) you will be given a ticket by a member of the Oakham School Staff that will allow you access to the Tournament Venue.
You can either walk or take a free Shuttle Bus to the Tournament Venue, which is less than half a mile from Schanschieff's Car Park.
The Shuttle Buses will operate between the following times:
Day 1 – 12:30pm to 6.15pm
Day 2 – 8:30am to 6.15pm
Day 3 – 8:30am to 1pm

The Women's World Cup final is also set to take place on 20 August, so there will be plenty of live women's football to enjoy as the sport gains more and more recognition both nationally and across the world.
