Tutenkhamun’s Tomb and Treasures
Victoria Hall Oakham
Culture
UNTIL Thursday 25th April
The unearthing of Tutankhamun's tomb by Howard Carter in 1922 was arguably the greatest of all archaeological discoveries. The name of this boy-king conjures up wonderful imagery and mysterious tales of the pharaohs. Lucia Gahlin explores this most famous tomb in the Valley of the Kings, its treasures, its design and its decoration
Lucia is an Egyptologist who has worked on excavations in Egypt. She now works at the Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology in London.
Join us in the Victoria Hall at 10.30 for 11.00. Guests Welcome (£5)
