12th Jan 2021 | Local News

Organised gangs are stealing Land Rovers in the region, according to police.

Rutland Police said on social media yesterday that the vehicle pictured above was stolen overnight from a village in Rutland.

They ask if anyone has seen the vehicle to contact Leicestershire Police.

No further details were given.

However, in the tweet that was shared on social media, Lincolnshire Police said: "Organised Crime Gangs continue to seek out Defenders to steal.

"We are stopping Land Rovers seen out at night - Owners we speak to are happy that we're taking LR theft seriously too."
