Butterwick will be opening a bakery at 41 High Street, Oakham.

The former home of Fat Face has been empty for over a year, since March 2022, but that will not be the case for much longer.

Butterwick, a chain of bakeries across the East Midlands, will be opening their latest branch in the Oakham-based store

The announcement was well received on their social media, with current and future patrons commenting "about time" and "THIS IS AMAZING NEWS!"

Butterwick sell a range of sweet and savoury baked goods, including vegetarian and vegan options. They also do baked-to-order items that are 'Instagrammable'!

Our skilled decorators add the finishing touches to create the signature bakes that fill the cabinets in our stores, and of course our range of occasion cakes that taste as incredible as they look!

"Enjoy a wide range of delicious shakes, tantalising cakes, and heavenly donuts all baked fresh daily. Not to mention, you can now find these amazing treats in 7 different locations across the midlands and counting."
