The Oakham Hopper bus service will be running on Sunday 7 May to coincide with the Coronation.

Enabling as many as possible to attend the Coronation events going on across the county on the Bank Holiday weekend, the Oakham Town Council and Rutland County Council-run bus service will be running all day on Sunday 7 May.

The bus service runs in and around the county town, usually from Monday to Saturday, providing free transport for anyone who needs it. The route includes stops at John Street, the bus station in the centre of town that was vandalised last week. Read more here.

It was announced earlier this month that Oakham Town Council are now working in partnership with Rutland County Council (RCC) to keep the Oakham Hopper in service. Read more and view the timetable here.
