SEN Reading Specialist

A recruitment company is looking for an SEN Reading Specialist to join local schools across Rutland.

Salary is £28,000 per annum.

You will:

  • be an ambassador for reading, continually promoting the importance of reading to both delivery staff and learners
  • work in conjunction with the delivery team to identify and provide support to learners with additional reading needs
  • carry out screening with learners who have low level reading ability, and adapt / develop learning materials and reading interventions, to ensure that their needs are met
  • be responsible for the implementation of engaging and motivational learning support sessions, delivered 1-1 or in a small group
  • deliver training to delivery staff in relation to reading and phonics
  • have at least C at GCSE level

Operations Manager

A local company is currently seeking an experienced, professional Operations Manager for a Rutland based client. This is a full-time, permanent position, working five days a week including alternate weekends.

Salary will be up to £50,000 per year.

You will:

  • manage the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure high standards are always maintained, setting targets and ensuring all KPIs are met
  • manage day to day general site operations, including maintenance and cleanliness
  • handle inventory and stocktaking in line with WMS requirements
  • manage the shipping process on our own fleet and via courier and monitor this to make sure they are achieved
  • regularly review warehouse and logistics systems and efficiency
