A local gaming attraction has launched a community give back programme, and is offering the ultimate stress-busting day out for local children across Rutland

Rumble Live Action Gaming has offered free sessions to local Year 6 students sitting their SATS this summer.

Rumble Live Action Gaming at Rutland Water reopened for its second season in March, and has since welcomed guests from six - 60 to embrace the benefits of outdoor activity and more on offer.

Located at Sykes Lane, just minutes from Stamford and Oakham, the award-winning attraction will be open every weekend until November as well as midweek during the summer school holidays.

For the last week, the team have welcomed local students who are just finishing their SATS for a fun-filled afternoon of outdoor activity at the Sykes Lane attraction.

Schools that opted to be involved in the scheme include Empingham, Great Casteron, Ketton, Polebrook, Glapthorn, Cottesmore Academy, St Nicholas, Uppingham Primary and Whissendine.

Mastermind behind the generous scheme, Jacquie Rumble, explained: " We offered a Rumble session to all Year 6 classes as the perfect stress-buster to celebrate the end of SATS. It's the perfect opportunity to give back to a community that has welcomed us so warmly following our expansion from Graham Water last year. We are looking forward to celebrating with them all!"

The woodland gaming attraction, on the shores of Rutland's stunning reservoir, opened last Spring. It has proved to be a hit for families, friends, birthdays, sports clubs, schools, scout groups and corporate teams, delivering an unforgettable and unique experience in the beautiful outdoors.

Perfect for fun-seekers from six years to forever young, Rumble is an ideal activity to get outside and active, whilst enjoying some favourite features from popular video games.

Respawns, medic packs, ammo boxes, special weapon upgrades, kill streaks and air strikes are just a few of the things you can expect as you work towards completing your missions - not on a screen - but for real!
