The Plough In Greetham are welcoming back some popular deals and have reduced a number of beer prices to welcome in the New Year and support their customers as the cost of living crisis continues.

Despite saying farewell to the Village Shop, which opened at the pub in early August 2022 following the closure of the Greetham store in the heart of the village, the team are excited to welcome in the New Year with some menu changes, longer opening hours, and cheaper beers so that you can still enjoy a meal out despite the rising cost of living.

The team, headed up by landlord, peter Ling, said: "The sad closure of the village store has made us think hard about the future. Without hesitation our commitment to The Plough is as strong as its ever been, the pub is our home and our passion and were here for the long ride.

"However we understand completely that times are hard and money is tight for everyone, this is why we've decided to go back to the basics and what the whole team do best - our award winning pub with great drinks and great quality pub food."

As such, beginning on Tuesday 3 January 2023, the team have re-introduced their lunchtime food service, including the popular two for one eat in menu.

The venue serve a range of great beers on regular rotation.

The team added: "With some help, we've realigned our food and drink prices with our draught beers, now starting at a very competitive £3.95 per pint. We're now open all day 7 days per week from 10.30am and our takeaway grab & go and hot & cold food is back also."

What does the future hold for this popular local pub?

The team concluded: "Very soon our restaurant will return, fully redecorated and complete with all new furniture. This in turn also gives us back our bar area and will re-enforce our commitment to our drinkers. We will also be welcoming back live music on both Saturdays and Sundays (watch this space).

"All this coupled with an imminent significant investment from the brewery which we can't wait to reveal makes 2023 something to really look forward to.
