Buttons disappeared at around 2pm on 25 December while she and owner Tracy Morris visited Tracy's daughter and boyfriend's house in Ladywell, Oakham.

Forty-one-year-old Craig Wallace, of no fixed address, has been charged with one count of theft and was scheduled to appear at Leicester Magistrates' Court.
